Mildred Brewton

Mrs. Mildred Wood Brewton, 81, of Dalton passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband Al Brewton in 1985.

Mildred is survived by her sons, Chris Brewton of Sitka, Alaska and Marc Brewton of Cleveland, TN; daughters, Cynthia Richmond of Dalton and Teresa Otero of Leesburg, VA; grandchildren, Kristina, Dara, Jovan, Joshua, Jessica, Jacob, Andrew, LeAnn and Max; great-grandchildren, Jack, Sophia, Kate, Juliet, Aidan, Cole, Daisy, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Lillian, Logan, Matthew and two more on the way; sister, Faye Hutchinson and brothers, Bill Wood and Jack Wood; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Swamp Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Donny Caylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and the body will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
