Mildred Presley

Miss. Mildred Presley, 81, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Russell and Teen Keith Presley and was preceded in death by her sisters and brother-in-law, Edith M. Presley and Ruth and Harlan Ellis and brother, R.L. Presley.

Mildred was a longtime member of Center Valley United Methodist Church, were she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was a beautician for many years.

She is survived by her niece, Elaine Bridges and nephew, Roger "Jerry" and Melissa Presley all of Chatsworth; sister-in-law, Lola Presley of Dalton; great-nieces and great-nephews, Russ and Jen Bridges of Ringgold, Matt and Marcy Bridges of Macon, Lauren and Timothy Thomason of Chatsworth and Brittney and Josh Lowery of Ellijay; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; special neighbors, Charles and Penny Redwine and Dianne Duckett all of Dalton.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. George Ross and Pastor Lathem Postell officiating.

Burial will be in Center Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the funeral at 4 p.m.
