Mr. Samuel Fenn Little, 80, of Dalton passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his residence.
He was the son of the late William and Katherine Little and was preceded in death by his wife of over 57 years, Frances Morgan Little.
Sam was a graduate of the University of Georgia Law School, was on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors, Vice President of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has been practicing law in Dalton for over 51 years and was most recently a partner with Little, Bates, Kelehear and Toland Law Firm. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son, Samuel Fenn Little Jr. (Ruth) of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Elizabeth Little Hardaway (Bob) of Dalton and Marianna Little King (Todd) of Atlanta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, William Harmon Little and Joy Little of Killen, AL; sister-in-law, George Anna Watson of Rockmart, GA; grandchildren, Camden Hardaway, Robert Hardaway, Heath Hardaway, Sam King, Huntley King, Emily Little and Ruby Little; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday at noon at the Dalton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Willingham officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
Burial will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Rockmart, Georgia with the Rev. Jeanette Dickson officiating.
The family requests that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to the Dalton First United Methodist Church, 500 N. Thornton Ave. Dalton Ga. 30720.
