Mr. Beecher “Ray” Miolen, 85, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his residence with his loving family at his side.

Ray was a veteran of the Korean War and a Bronze Star recipient. He served in the United States Army and proudly served his country.

His parents, Arthur M. and Nora Lou and brothers and sisters, Homer, Fred, Cleastin, Izell, Hoke, Ruby and Kermit preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Harris Miolen of the residence; their son, Terence “Terry” Ray of Flintstone, GA; their daughter, Christina “Chrissie” Elizabeth Pritchett of Ringgold; their 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobbie Tatum, the Rev Chester Edwards, and the Rev. Michael Douglas officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Alex Lawhon officiating.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 9 PM.

Ray will lie-in-state on Saturday from Noon until 1:30 PM.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Indian Springs Church of God, 2256 U.S. Hwy 41, Ringgold, GA 30736.
