Ruby Mcbrayer

Ms. Ruby Jean McBrayer, 81, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late A.B. and Thelma Prichett McBrayer and was preceded in death by her sisters, Joyce Greeson and Betty Faye Schneider.

Ruby was retired from Shaw Industries after 46 years of service. She was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church where she worked in the church office and sang in the choir.

She is survived by her niece, Kathleen (Barry) Kincaid of Dalton; nephew, Mike (Lisa) Greeson of Murfreesboro, TN; great nephews, Jerome (LaRita) Hollis and Mitchell (Holly) Hollis; great nieces, Jordan Greeson and Macy Greeson both of Murfreesboro, TN; great-great nieces and nephews; special lifetime friend, Delores Boyd of Dalton; caregiver, Penny Jackson of Rocky Face.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating.

Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
