Mr. Eddie “Ed” Nabors, 63, of Harrison, TN and formerly of Rocky Face, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Nabors and a sister-in-law, Patsy Ruth Howard. Ed was a veteran of the United States Army. He was known for his generosity and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved fishing and farming. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Collins Nabors of the residence; children and their spouses, Barbara and Ralph Gilbert of Rocky Face, Crystal and John Spurgeon of Lafayette, Chris and Kim Nabors of Lafayette, Kelly and Chris Hogsed of Cohutta, Dustin Sosebee of Rock Hill, SC, Marcos and Bianca Miranda of Chickamauga and Mallori and Keith Chastain of Chatsworth; mother, Doris Nabors of Rocky Face; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and David Dunlap of Rocky Face; nieces, Kathryn Dunlap and Sarah Dunlap both of Rocky Face; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; special friends, Mark and Dianne Howard of Dalton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bret Yaeger officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.lovefuneralhomega.com. Love Funeral Home, 1402 N.
