Mrs. Juanita Sue Bennett Coker, 82, of Dalton passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center. Juanita was born July 6, 1934 to the late W.G. “Grady” and Arthalee Green Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Gordon Lee “Jeter” Coker; brothers, Dewey Bennett and Tom Bennett; sisters, Era “Pete” Crumbley, Vera Buckner and Ruth Shaw. Juanita was a graduate of Dalton High School and retired from Dalton Public School System Maintenance and Operations after 22 years of service. She was a member of Crosspointe Christian Centre. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Randy and Jean Coker, Bert and Joy Coker and Robbie Sane all of Dalton; grandchildren, Heath (Candie) Sane of Chatsworth, Kevin (Becky) Coker of Cincinnati, OH, Brittany (Zach) Lewis of Cohutta and Adam Coker of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Brayden Sane and Bryleigh Phillips; special nieces and nephew, Elaine Hall, Cathee Bryant, Susan Shaw, Danny Buckner and her little buddy, Aaron Buckner; special friends, Becky Chadwick, Judy Watts, Beth Carlock, and Barbara Jones. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday from Crosspointe Christian Centre with the Rev. Stan Lester and Danny Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
