Kenneth R. Murphy

Mr. Kenneth R. Murphy, age 64, of Dalton passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Rev. Lawrence and Nell Jones Murphy and was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Murphy and brother, Larron Murphy, Missing in Action.

He is survived by his wife, Katrina Peppers Murphy of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Tom Gable of Cypress, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Phil Westbury of Hartwell, GA, and Susan and Ron Ward of Dalton; grandchildren, Zachary Gable and Joshua Gable; sister-in-law, Barbara Murphy of Savannah, GA; fur baby, Pepper; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Thursday at First Assembly of God with the Rev. Chuck Harris and Ricky Townsend officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 until 8 PM.
