Jerome "Romeo" Dyer

Mr. Jerome “Romeo” Dyer, 73, of Dalton passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his family.

He was the son of the late, Jim and Pate Ann Shoemaker Dyer and was preceded in death by his brother, Otis Dyer; sisters, Susie Callahan, Marie Parker, Georgia Luffman, Betty Lowery and Mary Elizabeth Dyer.

Jerome is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Alias and Marty Hutcherson of Tunnel Hill; son, Danny Dyer of Dalton; sisters, Ruth Ledford and Pat (Charles) Hawkins all of Dalton; special great-great nephew, Forrest Center; several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Tuesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd and the Rev. Adam Harrison officiating.

Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m.
