Katherine West Stansell

Mrs. Katherine West Stansell, 92, of Dalton passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Quinton Memorial Healthcare.

She was the daughter of the late Carl and Addie Jones West and was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Troy L. “Shine” Stansell; daughter, Glenda Stansell Mirabella; brother, Ray West; sisters, Blanche Chitwood, Gladys Mashburn and Leona Freylach.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Diane Stansell Thomas of Rossville; son, Ronald L. Stansell of Dalton; son-in-law, Mike Mirabella of Rossville; grandchildren, Todd Mirabella, Lori Richardson,Tyler Stansell and Mike "Mikie" Mirabella; great-grandchilden, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Bagley officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.
