Mary Brown

Mrs. Mary H. Brown, 90, of Dalton passed away Friday, June 30, 2017.

She was a graduate of Women’s College of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro with a degree in Secretarial Administration. She was a member of ChristChurch Presbyterian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Hallman and Lola S. Hallman; husband of 65 years, Jimmy Brown and son, William Brown; sisters, Shirley H. Meadows and Peggy H. Johnson.

Mary is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John Brown (LeeAnn), Tom Brown (Rhonda), Eddie Brown (Rose), and Eric Brown (Kim); grandchildren, Meghann Coley (Shannon), Whitney Cathey (Matt), Jordan Brown (Michelle), Lindsey Coker (Wes), Allison Howell (Tripp), Kelly Brown, Bowen Brown (Erin), Max Brown, Brandon Brown, Pierson Brown and Candace Brown; 8 great-grandchildren; special caregivers, Kissey Washington, Melba Riddell and the staffs of Tranquility of Dalton and Hamilton Hospice; nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held to celebrate Mary’s Life and Resurrection.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to ChristChurch Presbyterian, 510 S. Tibbs Road, Dalton Ga. 30720.
