Wanda Stagg

Mrs. Wanda Lou Stagg, 79, of Ringgold and formerly of Dalton went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oshel and Ida Mae Oldaker.

Wanda was a dedicated wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. For many years she was a loyal member of the choir at Dalton First United Methodist Church and served as chaplain of the Dalton Gideons.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dick Stagg of Ringgold; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Brandi Stagg of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Bob Sullivan of Carrollton, Ga; grandchildren, Jay (Chloe) Sullivan and Brianna (Myles) Maxwell of Carrollton, Matthew Stagg, Bailey Stagg and Nick Stagg all of Ringgold; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Ralph Gentry.

Funeral services will be on Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Dalton First United Methodist Church with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.

Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the atrium of the church on Thursday from noon until the service at 1 p.m.
