Eva Christine Whaley

Mrs. Eva Christine Dixon Whaley, 92, of Dalton, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Ridgewood Manor. She was born February 14, 1917 in Catoosa County to the late, L. Mathis and Ester Templeton Dixon and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Whaley in December of 2005; brothers, Melvin Dixon, SR., Alvin Dixon, Charles Afton Dixon, Harry Lowell Dixon and Harold E. Dixon.
Christine was a life long member of the Antioch Baptist Church, were she sang in the choir and played the piano.
She spent countless hours helping many people in the Antioch Community.
Christine is survived by her Sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin and Wanda Whaley, Truman and Starr Whaley all of Dalton.
Sisters-in-law, Annie Mae Dixon of Virginia, Louise Dixon and Norma Lee Dixon Jackson both of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Mitchell and Holly Whaley, Cameron and Erin Whaley.
Great-Grandchildren, Alexis and Kristine Whaley.
Numerous Nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Cordle officiating.
Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O.
