Mrs. Mattieal Rutledge Spence, 76, of Chatsworth, died Monday, May 15, 2006 in Murray Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, William F. and Elsie Bearden Rutledge and was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil T. Spence; sisters, Naomi Melton, Florene Moore, Velma Lewis, Grace Dawson; brother, Floyd Waters; Granddaughter, Sylvia Brantt.
She was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Mattieal is survived by her children and their spouses, Deloris and Fred Reed, Jr. of Murphy, NC., Larry and Margaret Rutledge of Albany, NY., Billy and Brenda Spence of Dalton, Jerry Spence of Chatsworth, Ricky and Winnell Spence of Chatsworth and Tammy Roberson of Dalton.
Sisters, Imogene Phillips, Erlene Pritchett and Lorene Brown all of Cleveland, TN.
Brothers, John Rutledge, Thomas Rutledge and Doyle Rutledge all of Cleveland, Tn.
Aunt Pauline Bearden of Cleveland, TN.
Grandchildren, Connie McLemore, Scotty Rutledge, Julie Rutledge, Christy Rutledge, Billy Spence, JR., Bryan Spence, Bruce Spence, Shenna Spence, Cody Spence, Rebecca Lunsford, Joshua Spence and Derrick Roberson.
Great-Grandchildren, Jessica Brantt, Jason Brantt, Ryan McLemore, Katy McLemore, Brittany Spence, Alex Spence, Jordan Lunsford, Noah Lunsford, and Logan Brooks.
Nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 11 A.M. from New Life Baptist Church with the Rev. James Smith and the Rev. Ricky Spence officiating.
Burial will follow in New Hope - Kilgore Cemetery in Murray County.
A White Dove Release will conclude Graveside services.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday after 5 P.M.
