Sybil Mccoy

Mrs. Sybil Floyd McCoy, 81, of Dalton, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 in Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Jessie Herman and Flora Lee McAllister Floyd and was preceded in death by her husband, John David “J.D.” McCoy Sr.; sisters, Louise Massey, Marcell “Mot” Thompson, Doris Bice; brothers, Jessie Floyd and Larry Floyd.
Sybil was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church for 57 Years.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Cheryl McCoy of the residence, John David and Rhonda Peters McCoy of Tunnel Hill, Rebecca and Tim Jones of Dalton, Gloria and Richie Campbell of Arlington, TX., Bradley McCoy of the residence.
A special Niece, Linda Raines of Longwood, Fl.
Sisters and brother-in-law, Myrna and Otis Harbin of Canton, GA., Barbara Hall of Dalton.
Brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Truda Floyd, Buford Floyd all of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Jeremy McCoy, Amanda Jones, Whitney Jones, Rich Campbell, Courtney and Allen Daugharty.
Services will be Thursday at 2 P.M. from South Dalton Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Sampley and the Rev. Trammel Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
