Sybil Guinn

Mrs. Sybil Hammontree Guinn, 95, of Dalton passed away Tuesday July 11, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late, Williard and Sadie Smith Hammontree and was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Guinn; sisters, Pauline Franks, Jewell Hammontree; brother, Floyd Hammontree; aunt, Sally Smith.

Sybil was a member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Dyer of Venice, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and René Guinn of Cohutta; grandchildren, Selisa (Tony) Garner, Gina (Jerry) Moss, and Breanne (Chris) Reed; great-grandchild, Collin Devlin; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m.
