Mrs. Frances “Granny” Mullinax Eaton, 92, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Mullinax and Texie Anna Chapman Mullinax and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Andrew Eaton; son, Thomas Edward Eaton; brothers, Grady Mullinax, Clarence Mullinax, Floyd Mullinax, R.L. Mullinax and Glenn Mullinax; sisters, Bertha Mullinax, Ethel Sable, Ruby Townsend, Peggy Hunsucker, Beulah Scott and Mae Jeffcoat.

Frances is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Lamar Jordan, Cindy Eaton Deverell and Gregory Deverell; grandchildren, Jason and Paige Eaton, Sam and Candace Eaton, Martha Eaton, Bryan and Novi Deverell; great grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Hannah, J.T., Sawyer, Matthew and Amelia; special great niece and great nephew, Jennifer and Jeff Kirland; loving caregivers, Katie Kenner and Starr Neisler.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Bailey officiating.

Burial will be West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, 1440 Clifton Road N.E., Suite 170, Atlanta Ga. 30322-1053.
