Stella Arnold

Mrs. Stella Burchfield Arnold, 95, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Jim and Ivory Helton Burchfield and was preceded in death by her husband, Avery “Buck” Arnold; sons, Harold Arnold and James Arnold; sister, Nelia Wehunt; brothers, Leon Burchfield, Spence Burchfield and Fred Burchfield; grandson, Robert Joseph Lawrence.

Stella was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Pat and Harry Lawrence of Chatsworth, Alma Kay Arnold, Peggy Lynch, David and Tressia Arnold and Debbie Arnold Boyd all of Dalton; brother, James Burchfield of Dalton; grandchildren, Clifford Price Jr., Sharon Kirby, David Wesley Arnold and Robert Boyd; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Hare officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
