Mary Bartenfield Skipper

Mrs. Mary Bartenfield Skipper, age 88, of Hixson, TN and formerly of Dalton, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Johnnie Patterson Bartenfield and was preceded in death by her husband, Price W. Skipper and sister, Carol Dickinson.

Mary was a long time employee of Collier Drug and retired from Belk Store.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Pam Skipper of Hixson; grandchildren, Lauren Skipper, Paige Cushwa and Joe Lamb; sister, Frankie Elrod of Huntsville, AL; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Mattox officiating.

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.
