Jeffery Horton

Mr. Jeffery Horton, 70, of Dalton passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Horton in June of this year; parents, Mary Louise and Dorsey Horton; grandparents, Aurelia Peterson and Hattie and Claude Horton.

Jeffery is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jonathan Jackson of Dalton; aunt, Martha Duvall of Dalton; niece, Jilly (Bryan) Reese of Newnan, GA; nephew, J.J. (Shannon) Jackson of Dalton; several cousins also survive.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 200 Central Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
