Mrs. Angela Ethel Whittle Redwine departed this life on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Panama City, Florida, doing what she loved most – having fun with family. Angie is preceded in death by her parents, Doris Jean Graves Whittle and Walter A. Whittle, Jr.; grandparents, Virgil and Ethel Graves and Walter A. and Ethel Whittle; father-in-law, Harvey Lee Redwine, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband, David Wayne Redwine, of 20 years; sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie and Dennis Mock and Linda Whittle; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Karen Whittle and Charles Whittle; mother-in-law, Janice Sherer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey Lee and Karen Redwine, Jr. Angie’s big smile and kind heart will be especially missed by her surviving nieces and nephews, Amanda Holman, Courtney and Corey Phillips, Dave and Allison Whittle, Jeremy and Farrah Mock, Jason and Becky Mock, Ian Whittle, Walter and Charles Whittle, and great nephews and nieces, James and Justin Hooker, Cameron Holman, Aiden, Cannon and Walker Phillips, Madison and Tripp Whittle and Many special friends, too many to name. Angie graduated from the University of Georgia. But her primary jobs were with the family business and raising her nieces and nephews. She never had children of her own, but she mothered many. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Dalton on Saturday, October 14th at 2 PM with the Rev. Jonathan Barlow and the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating. A celebration of Angie will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the memorial until 5 PM. The celebration will include some of Angie’s favorites, Krispy Crème Donuts and ice cream.
