Mrs. Opal Stinson Gribble, 95, of Dalton, passed away, Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Gribble; sons, Paul Gribble, Cecil Gribble, Harold Gribble and Kenneth Gribble; daughter, Beatrice “Bea” Davis; brother, sisters and 4 grandchildren.
Opal was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Ray Bishop of Rocky Face, Brenda and Gerald West of Cohutta; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Shirley Gribble, Richard and Shirley Gribble all of Dalton, David and Judy Gribble, Ray and Pam Gribble all of Chatsworth; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Miller and the Rev. Bobby Tatum officiating.
Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday after 5 P.M. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the First Assembly of God, 508 Sheridan Ave., Dalton, GA. 30721.
