Hilda M. Gaston

Mrs. Hilda M. Gaston, 72, of Dalton passed away Friday, December 15, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Floyd Andrew aka “Brownie” Hollis and Virgie Johnson Hollis and was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Richard aka “Abba” Hollis.

Hilda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert ‘Kenneth” Gaston of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim Gaston Pye (Johnny) of Dalton and Nancy Gaston Carmony (Bill) of Ooltewah, TN; grandsons, Michael Andrew Spitler and Kenneth Edgar Nicholson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Hollis; special nephew, Ricky Hollis of Dalton; other nieces and nephews; special cousins, Sammy Johnson and Mary Charles Tate; other cousins also survive.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Lillard Stringer officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m.
