Mary Leatherwood

Mrs. Mary Cox Leatherwood, 86, of Cohutta, passed away, Thursday October 29, 2009 at N. H. C. HealthCare in Rossville.
She was the daughter of the late, William and Ida Ellis Cox and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer Leatherwood;son, Neal Leatherwood; sisters, Melba Quinn, Mercedes Cox; special niece Cindy Quinn.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jim Nations of Cohutta; son, Michael Leatherwood of Chattanooga; dauhgter-in-law, Wilda Leatherwood of Cohutta; sister, Mabel Hair and Dolly Roberts both of Dalton and Bernice Hair of Orlando, FL.; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Toby Cox of Orlando; grandchildren, Renee (Jerry) Watson, Sandra Leatherwood, Eric Leatherwood, Phil (Mitizi) Nations, Clay (Cherie) Nations, great-grandchildren, Tiffany Elder, Chris Russell, Erica Leatherwood, Trevar Nations, Brandon Nations, Tanner Nations, Tiffany Mooney and Sydney Nations.
Funeral service will be at 11 A.M. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Truett Nimmons officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 9 P.M.
