Mary Smith Rich

Mrs. Mary Catherine Smith Rich, 92, of Dalton, passed away Friday December 29, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Georgia Cargal Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. “Boots” Rich.

Mary was a member of Dalton Church of God.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Rich Colquitt and Chuck of Soddy-Daisy, TN; granddaughter, Amie Thompson and Brian of Sandy Springs, GA; brother B.H. Smith, Jr. of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Benny Roberts and the Rev. William Oogie Roberts officiating.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m.


Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
