Sue Smith

Mrs. Sue Elsberry Smith, of Dalton, passed away Monday, November 9, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Grace Kenemer Elsberry and was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Smith and a son, Bruce D. Smith; sisters, Arlene Rittenhouse, Irene Underwood and Montyne Duncan.
Sue is survived by her granddaughter, Lucretia Smith of Decatur, GA.; daughter-in-law, Pamela R. Smith of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, James W. and Virginia Elsberry of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brent and Kristi Johnson, Tracy and Keith Jennings; great-grandchildren, Ashton Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Tucker Jennings and Tate Jennings; niece and nephews, Shirley and Bobby Hayes, Dorothy and Don Gray, Sandwe Weeks, David and Annie-Marie Elsberry; other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Genevieve DeHoog officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
