Ethel Mae "Phoebe" Johnson

Ethel Mae “Phoebe” Johnson, age 71 of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.

She was born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee to the late Alvin and Pauline Green. She graduated from Rockwood High School in Rockwood Tennessee. Her greatest love was her family.

She is survived by her son Jeff (Renee’) Rector of Dalton, Georgia, daughters Tina Rivers of Dalton, GA, Tonya (David) McMunn of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren Todrick Rivers (Heather Branson) of Dalton, GA, Luke (Katherine) Rector of Marietta, GA, Brittany Rivers (Kaiser Simpson) of Dalton, GA, Jacob (Brittany) Rector of Chatsworth, GA, Amanda Rector of Cochran, GA, Mason McMunn, Caitlin McMunn, and Caleb McMunn all of Ringgold, GA; great grandchildren Samya, Dionte, Ridley, Phoebe-Kate, Jaylyn-Phoebe, Kinsley, Evan, Kaiden, and Eli; and her best friends Charlotte Yott and Paulette Gallman.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at Love Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Family and Friends will be welcomed from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel.
