Margaret Thomason

Mrs. Margaret Whitson-Tomlin Thomason, 89, of Dalton passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Arnold Thomason; daughter, Donna Lynn Thomason; sons, David A. Thomason Jr.-Larsen and Ronnie Thomason; grandson, Jason Thomason; brother, Don Cochran.

Margaret was a member of Center Point Baptist Church and was in the Sounds of Joy Choir at Dalton First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Vickie Thomason of Dalton; sister, Wilma Jones of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren, Debbie Larsen of Colorado, Kelly and Ignacio Handal of Alabama, Eric Thomason and Alexis Thomason of Dalton; great-grandson, Alex Handal; special friends, Sarah and Savannah Whittenburg; nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Friday at Noon in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. George Ross and the Rev. Matt Futch officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
