Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Lingerfelt Hall, 88, of Dalton, passed away Thursday December 17, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Agnes Bearden Lingerfelt and was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Lingerfelt and a sister, Jeannette Mincey.
Mildred was a member of the board for Cheerhaven School (Crossplains) a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Golden Age Club and a member of the Eastern Star.
She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother, best in the world.
Mildred had a strong christian Faith and dedicated her life to her family and care of her daughter, Patricia Lane Hall.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar William Hall of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Lane Hall, Elizabeth Ann and Richard Chumley of Dalton; sisters, Betty Lewis (Ernest) of FL., Katherine Manning (William) of Walker County, Louise Satterfield (Paul) of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Edgar Lingerfelt. Charles and Pat Lingerfelt all of Atlanta; grandchildren, Ashley Richann Chumley, Charles Bo Headden, Richard and Tara Chumley and Ricky and Christie Chumley; great-grandchildren, Charlton Rhett Headden, Eli Chumley, Jacob Chumley, Steele Chumley, Chesney Chumley and Whitley Chumley; nieces and nephews; special friends, Margie Davis, Paulette Meeks, Louise Beavers, Donna Quinn and Karen Gentry.
Funeral services will be at 3 P.M. Sunday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. David Henderson and Rhett Headden officiating.
Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 1 to 6 P.M.
