Mrs. Seun Lai Wong (Imui), 90, of Dalton passed away Friday, January 1, 2010. She was born in Fuzhou, China and had lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Washington D.C., Los Angles before retiring to Dalton.
She was a loving devoted wife. mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and a respectful warm-hearted mentor to her family and friends. She was always on the go who loved to cook and take care of everbody. She also worked for 30 years with Congressman Alphonzo Bell of California.
She is survived by her dear husband of 70 years, Loun Keng Wong of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Fang Wong, Peter and Theresa Wong, Wilson and May Wong, Steve Wong and his girlfriend, Shannon Stevenson, Johnny and Kay Wong all of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Winnie Wong, Helen and Christopher Chin all of Los Angeles., CA.; honorary family members Tony Bell and Billy Moses both of California; brother and sister-in-law, Kam Koon and Man Ying Chan of Dalton; nieces (spouses), Connie Chan of Los Angeles, CA., Kwok Chu Chan of Dalton, Shura Wang (Wenxin Liu), Lijuan Lin(Bing Zhong Lin), Ying Mei Lin (Yong Rong Wu) all of China; nephews (spouses), Albert Chan his girlfriend Cindy Johnson of Dalton, Xxehan Wang (Xiangliu Yuan), Xuezhang Wang (Yaojin Lin), Xueding Wang (Xiaofan Chen), Xeuqiang Wang (Yizhu Huang), (Ping Zheng), (Weiyu Lin), all of Fuzhou, China; grandchildren, Simon Wong, Robert and Nori Wong, Allen Wong, Michael and Becky Wong, Gary Chin, Richard Wong, Deborah Wong and her boyfriend, Matthew McCurley, Derrick Chin, Samuel Wong, Raymond and Anna Chin, David Wong, Diana Wong, Paul Wong, Ashton Wong, Alyssa Wong, Analily Wong, Arden Wong, Eva Lam, Christopher Lam and Hope Stevenson; grand-nephews and grand-nieces(spouses), Xiaolin Liu, Young Liu, Yuan Wang (Cuihong Yao), Xian Wang, Ling Wang (Li Chen), Si Wang, Yue Wang, Ping Wang, (Xio Zhi Yang), Wei Wang (Xiangdong Zheng), Chen Wang (Huan Zhao), Qun Lin, Feng Lin, Wei Lin (Wei Dong Chen), Min Wu (Yi Wang), Jin Wu (Bin Li); great-grandchild, Maya Wong; great grand-nephews and great grand-nieces, Ruoyao Wang, Sicheng Chen, Tao Wang, Hao Zheng, Xiaochen Wang, Xiaochuan Zhao, Hao Nan Chen, Jun Ye Wang and Qi Wu.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff of Ridgewood Manor for their care and support.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, California.
The family will receive friends Saturday at Love Funeral Home from 3 to 7 P.M.
