Frances Phillips Cannon

Mrs. Frances Phillips Cannon, 84, of Albany, GA. , passed away Monday January 4, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.
She was born August 31, 1925 in Barbour County Alabama to the late, Lester and Alline Phillips and was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Jill Cannon and a brother Ray Phillips.
Frances was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church in Albany. She retired as secretary from Dougherty Junior High and Dougherty Comprehensive High School in Albany.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Debbie Cannon of Brazil, IN. and Phillip and Patti Cannon of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Sharon Phillips of Dawson, GA., Fred and Joann Phillips of Cordele, GA., and Carolyn Phillips of Plains, GA.; grandchildren, Kelly Cannon Buchsbaum and husband Rob of Ridgewood, NJ., Doug Cannon and his wife Dawn of Birmingham, AL., Caroline Cannon, Rebekah Cannon and Chandler Cannon all of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Jake Buchsbaum and Doug and Ella Cannon; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at Hall and Hall Funeral Directors, 324 S. Mock St., Albany, Ga. 31705-3417 (229)-883-3864.
