Lillian Mashburn

Mrs. Lillian Elizabeth Carder Mashburn died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
Lillian was born September 30, 1920, daughter of James Oscar and Georgia Glass Carder. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Riley Otto Mashburn; her parents, her sisters Dorothy Carder Hair and Agnes Evelyn Carder, and cherished friends. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Bill Murry of Dalton, Merrilyn and Harry Burke of Marietta; grandchildren, Charles D. Ross, Jr. of Marietta, Michelle Murry Bartenfeld and her husband Brad, and Marianne Murry; great-grandchildren Eldon, Ian, and Rileyanne Baines, beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday at the Dalton First Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Nimmons, the Rev. Phillip Cannon and the Rev. Larry Flanagan officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends in the atrium of the church Saturday from 10 A. M. til Noon.
The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 827, Dalton, Ga. 30722-0827, of which Lillian was a life long member.
