Henry Pierce

Mr. Henry Pierce, 93, of Dalton, passed away January 12, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, John Lewis Pierce and Mary Neely Pierce and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Margie Richardson Pierce; sisters, Elsie Walker, Ada Chadwick and Lavada Pierce; half-brothers, Herman Pierce and half-sister, Juanita Pierce Taylor.
Henry is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Mary Emma Pierce of Tunnel Hill and Harley and Janis Pierce of Ringgold; sister. Elizabeth Padgett of Dalton; grandchildren, Tracey and Linda Pierce, Todd and Laura Pierce, Curtis and Mary Pierce and Deborah and Chuck Haymes; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Mimbs and Rev. Vernon Hawkins officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday
from 5 to 8 P.M.
In lieu of Flowers Memorials made be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 2325 Chattanooga Rd., Dalton, GA. 30720.
