Nellie Ruth Lewallen

Mrs. Nellie Ruth Lewallen, 87, of Dalton, passed away Sunday January 17, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late, Samuel and Odessa Lively Allmon and was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Roy Lewallen; brothers and sisters, Ruby Bearden, James “Jimmy” Allmon, Myers Allmon, J, D. Allmon and Martha Barnes.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Nellie is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dale Vandagriff of Ringgold; grandchildren, Crystal and Ethan Hildreth, Bill and Kerre Resides, Stephanie and Bob Spence and Brandon and Jessica Vandagriff; great-grandchildren, Kemble Hildreth, Dane Hildreth, Laura Hildreth, Jo Hildreth, Lee Hildreth, Chas Reside, Alexis Resides, Whitni Resides, Max Spence, Hunter Spence and Meyer Spence; sister-in-law, Shirley Allmon of Dothan, AL; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 8 P. M.
