Louise "Nonie" Hughes

Mrs. Louise Steele “Nonie” Hughes, 86, of Dalton, passed away Thursday evening, January 21, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, W.W. “Buddy” Hughes in 2000 and her grandson, Bryan Watson in 2006.
Louise is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Rose and Jimmy Polk of Titusville, FL., Gail and Gerald Harper of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Larry W. “Buddy” and Diane Hughes of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Aileen and James Russell of Mableton, GA.; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Barbara Steele of Buchanan, GA.; grandchildren, Debbie and Alan Morrison, Charlotte and Bert Poston, Tequita and Mike Hilton, Trena and Brian Berry, Luke Sharp,Wesley H. “Buddy” and Jamie Hughes, Hannah and Lane Lewis; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Sunday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Rhoda Howell officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to
8 P.M.
