Howard "Al" Barnes

Mr. Howard A. “Al” Barnes, 89, of Dalton, passed away Monday January 25, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lemma Parks Barnes.
Al was a Sergeant in the United States Army having served in the European theater during W W II. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Tunnel Hill. He was a dedicated christian.
Al is survived by a special great-nephew and his wife, Joe and Amanda Wilkey of Chatsworth; great-great niece and great-great-nephew, Zachary Wilkey and Kennedy Wilkey both of Chatsworth; special niece, Lynda Wilson of Chatsworth; other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Hyatt officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday
from 5 to 8 P.M.
