Denton Wilson

Mr. Denton Wilson, 87, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the the son of the late, Roduskie and Ellie Evans Wilson and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Opal Smith Wilson; sisters, Stella Fortenberry, Ruby Woak, Willie Mae Wilson and Ethel Wilson; brothers, W. Sollie Wilson, Arthur L. Wilson, Hoyt Wilson and W. Fain Wilson.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Larry Edwards of Dalton; grandchildren, Leanne and Trey Gaskin of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Katie Gaskins, Anne Gaskins, Emily Gaskins and Grace Gaskins; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M Saturday from the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Rogers officiating.
Burial will follow in West HIll Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
