Mary Thompson

Mrs. Mary White Thompson, 72, of Cartersville, Ga. passed away Friday, February 26, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sewell Thompson in 2002 and a step-daughter, Gloria Horton.
Mary was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Powell of Lafayette, GA.; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Shelia Thompson of Chesapeake Bay, VA.; step-children, Betty and Ray Scott of Tampa FL., Jeanette Edmondson of Fort Payne, AL., Glenda Haggard of Ringgold, Vicky Love of Rossville, Carl and Penny Thompson of Los Angeles, CA., Richard and Anna Thompson of Margate, FL., David Thompson of Port Richey, FL.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carrie and John Holcomb of Chatsworth, Bea and Wallace Couples of Memphis, TN., Opal Hawkins of North Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Powell, Kevin Thompson, Andrea Thompson and Matthew Thompson; many step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Mr. Joey English officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 1:30 to 3 P.M.
