Mrs. Martha Hurt Cook, 87, of Dalton, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010.
She was born June 25, 1922, daughter of the late Robert and Frances Springfield Hurt. She was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Hurt.
Martha was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James C. Cook, Sr. of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, James C. Cook, Jr and Cheryl Cook of Dalton; grandson, David Corey Cook of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Hurt, Jr. and Betty Lou of Pittsburgh, PA.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
Burial will follow in West HIll Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 1 until 2.
