Gladys Mashburn

Mrs. Gladys West Mashburn, 87, of Dalton, passed away Saturday April 10, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Carl and Addie Jones West and was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin D. Mashburn; sister Blanche Chitwood and a brother, Ray West.
Gladys was retired from Patcraft.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Tommy Ragan of Dalton; sisters, Leona West Freylach and Katherine West Stansell all of Dalton; sister-in-law, Gwen Mashburn of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Tonya Ragan Green, Kimberly M. Ragan, Ryan and Lynette Ragan all of Dalton, great-grandchildren, Sheree and Steve Patton, Brandon Ragan all of Chatsworth, Johnna Green, Holly and Wendell Patton, Heather Duckworth, Brandon and Stephanie Varnell and Bria Varnell all of Dalton; great-great- grandchildren, Abbie Putman, Wendell Patton, III, Keylee Varnell, Peyton Varnell and Jackson Knight all of Dalton and Addison Patton of Chatsworth; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 Tuesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Marlin officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 A. M. til the funeral hour at 1:30 P.M.
