William Claude Hayes

Mr. William Claude Hayes, 95, of Dalton died Sunday, May 2, 2010.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dalton.
Claude was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Harbuck Hayes in 1999; son, William “Bill” Hayes in 1980; brothers, Joe Hayes and Doyle Hayes.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Gary Weiss of Charleston, SC.; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gayle Hayes of Dalton; sister, Pauline Weaver of Maryville, TN.; grandchildren, Don Hayes, Jr., Mitchell Hayes and Shannon Hayes; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Dalton with Dr. Billy Nimmons, the Rev. Truett Nimmons and the Rev. Shannon Hayes officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
