Irene Blackstock Chance

Mrs. Irene Blackstock Chance, 83, of Dalton, passed away, Saturday, September 16, 2006 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Benjamin and Timmie Rachel Jones Blackstock and was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillie Mae Holden, Phunfay Greeson, Malvern Strickland and Dorothy Lowe; brothers, Wilburn Blackstock, Claude Blackstock and Bud Blackstock.
Irene was a life long member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles Chance of the residence.
Daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jr. Hammontree of Dalton.
Son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Vicki Chance of Destin, FL.
Grandchildren, Shannon and Brent Whaley of Dalton, Zachary Chance of
Destin, FL.
One Great-Grandchild, Hannah Whaley.
Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Cordle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 9 P.M.
