Mrs. Mossie E. Cline Hill King, 86, of Tunnel Hill, passed away Thursday May 27, 2010 at Wood Dale Health Care Center, where she had resided for the past five years.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph (Joe) H. and Flora Pearson Cline and was preceded in death by her husbands, Oscar King and John Hill; sister, Oma Cline McGinnis ; brothers, Earl Cline, Harlan Cline, Richard Cline, Carl Cline, Paul Cline and Russell Cline.
Mrs. King was the owner/operator of King’s Grocery in Tunnel Hill for many years. She was a member of Little Prospect Baptist Church in the Beaverdale Community.
She is remembered for her generosity, not only to her family and friends, but always ready to help anyone who had a need. Her passing will leave a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn Hill Towe and Edward Towe; and granddaughter, Lauren Towe all of South Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 4 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M.
