Randy Thornton

Mr. Randy E. Thornton, 49, of Cohutta, GA., passed away, Friday, September 29, 2006 at his residence.
Randy was the President of Gene Rogers Builders, LLC; was a member of the Dalton Masonic Lodge # 105; was a member of The Pine Grove Baptist Church,
and was an avid outdoorsman
He was preceded in death by his father, Steed Thornton in 1992 and his father-in-law, Gene Rogers in 2002.
Randy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debbie Rogers Thornton of the residence.
Daughter, Julie Thornton of Cleveland, TN.
Son, Adam Thornton of Cohutta.
Mother, Annie Jo Thornton of Dalton.
Brother and sister-in-law and best friend, Greg and Anita Thornton of Chatsworth.
Mother-in-law, Ruthann Rogers of Dalton.
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ross and Maureen Rogers of Dalton.
Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandi and Hap Hannah of Cleveland, TN .
Nieces and nephews, Laurel and Adam Carter, Lacey Thornton, Emily Hampton, Allison Rogers, Michelle Rogers, Andi Hannah, Alex Hannah, and Jameson Hannah.
Great-Niece, Macy Carter.
Aunts, Uncles and cousins also survive.
Services will be Sunday at 2 P.M. from Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. George Ross and the Rev. Robert Staten officiating.
Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday after 4 P.M.
