Mr. Robert Leon Holloway, 45, of Tunnel Hill, passed away Monday June 7, 2010 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby Vaughn and J. W. Blair and Mr. and Mrs. William Holloway; special nephew, Isaiah Horne in 2005 and step-father, Larry Laney in 2006.
Robert was a 1983 graduate of Ringgold High School. He worked for Shaw Industries in Dalton for 20 years before accepting a position with McKee Bakery in Collegedale, Tennessee.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Ann Smith and fiancé, Jacob Weeks of Dalton; Robert’s fiancé, Patricia Estermyer of Tunnel Hill; mother, Betty Blair Laney of Cleveland, TN; step-daughter and fiancé, Barbie Estermyer and Garrett Crider of Rocky Face; step-son and his wife, Jay and Brandy Mineard; special step-grandchildren, Layla and Ethan Mineard; sister and brother-in-law, Rita Holloway Horne and Gary of Cleveland, TN; special niece and nephew, Amanda and Gary Lee Horne of Cleveland; aunt and uncle, Ann and Arnold Hill of Chatsworth; mother of his daughter, Nancy Elaine Smith of Tunnel Hill; father, Leon Holloway; great aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 A. M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Baker officiating.
Burial will be in Gordy Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7.
