Leonard E. Rollins

Mr. Leonard Earl Rollins, 79, of Dalton, passed away Monday July 5, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Ballenger and Bertha Crow Rollins and was preceded in death by his first wife, Madgeline Sosebee Rollins; son Randall Rollins and a brother, Albert Rollins.
Leonard was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette D. Cochran Rollins of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cathy Rollins of Statesboro, GA.; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Randy Patton of Adairsville, Lisa Cowan and James Green of Jasper, GA.; step-daughters and step-sons-in-law, Becky Taylor Mealor of Jacksonville, FL., Gloria Taylor, Robin and Eddie Martin, Dana and Franklin Sane all of Dalton; sister, Evelyn Lowery of Dalton; grandchildren, Samantha Brown, Cynthia Cowan, Kendra English, Michael Rollins, Colton Rollins, Haydon Rollins, Randall Patton, Matthew Patton, Chuck Green, Nathan Green, Mark Sane and William Bryant; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 A. M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
