Mae Ellis

Mrs. Mae Ellis, 95, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Morningside of Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Ellis.
Mae was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was retired from Whitfield County Schools.
She is survived by her sons, Harry (Ginny) Ellis of Tampa, FL. and Roger Ellis of Dalton; daughters, Ann (Mark) Swaim of Advance, NC. and Gilda Ellis of Lakeland, Fl.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Waters of Columbus, GA.; sister, Nell Holt of Lake Ridge, VA.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Virginia Simmons Ellis and the Rev. Chris Mullis officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 11 to 1 P.M.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2701 Cleveland Road, Dalton, Ga. 30720.
