Arvil E. Bagley

Mr. Arvil E. Bagley, Sr.,77, of Dalton, passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Noah and Emmer Hill Bagley and was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Rogers Bagley; son, Robert Bagley; sister, Odell Hayes, Ruby Lee Cauley and a brother, Edward Bagley.
Arvil was a veteran and retired from the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, having served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War and a tour of duty in the Korean Conflict. Arvil was a Bronze Star Recipient. He was a Atlanta Braves Fan and loved racing his stock car.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rona and Ken Harrier of Bentonville, AK; sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Eugene Bagley of Dalton and Arvil E. Bagley and Kathy of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Avanell and Roy Witt of Tunnel Hill; brothers, Donald Bagley of Varnell and Ruben Bagley of Tunnel Hill;brother-in-law John Hayes; grandchildren, Sellena Bagley and Savannah Bagley; great-grandchildren, Robert Bagley and Phoenix Bagley; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P. M. Wednesday at Grove Level Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.
Burial will be in Sumach-Cumberland Cemetery with full Military Honors.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 9 P.M.
