Juanita Bates

Mrs. Juanita Barnard Bates, 84, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Bates in 1973.
Juanita is survived by her son, Gary Bates (Kay) of Rocky Face; daughter, Marlene Stanley (Larry) of Franklin, TN.; sisters, Katherine Souther and Sybil Bryant both of Chattanooga, TN.; brother, Lamar Barnard of Dalton; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Marlin officiating.
Burial will be Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.
