Barbara "Mimi" Eckel

Mrs Barbara Mayberry “Mimi” Eckel, 85, of Dalton passed away Saturday July 17, 2010 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Compton.
Barbara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Bill McKay of Dalton; grandchidlren, Rebecca Childress Turner and Edward Bradley Childress, III both of Houston, TX., Jesse David McKay of Chicago, IL., Christopher Andrew McKay of Dalton and Karis Paige McKay of Tuscaloosa,, AL.
Services will be Monday at 4 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Suddeth officiating.
Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 3 to 4 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Fellowship Bible Church Music Ministry, 2044 Dug Gap Rd., Dalton, Ga. 30720.
